Ski-Mazing Water-Ski Show

After dinner children and adults can move down to the waterfront and be entertained by Staff and Wiggy as he motors around the waterfront on his own personal watercraft, then just as the kids are giggling to his antics the waterfront becomes electrified with the Ski-Mazing staff as they put on an exciting and fun filled show. For guests that want to learn how to ski, wakeboard or want to go and experience the fun on the water, there are lessons, rentals and much more available. [more info]

The Wye Marsh “Birds of Prey” Show

A one hour program that will give children and adults alike the opportunity to understand how birds can fly and actually see hawks fly. You will learn about the different types of birds of prey including:

  • Buteo’s – masters of the thermal
  • The Accipiter’s – hunters of the bush
  • The Falcons – hunters of the air and Owls.

Science North Out Reach ProgramThe Blue Coats from Science North will be traveling from their facility in Sudbury to Wigamog every Friday night in order to share some great entertaining and educational insight for our guests. Some of their top Biologists will be coming to do a demonstration on the nocturnal animals of the area, talking about fireflies and how they produce 'cold light'.  Also appearing will be some live animals including snakes, flying squirrels and frogs.  They will have bat discussion and actually go outside to track bats!

Speaking of WildlifeAn outreach program from Muskoka Wildlife center designed to give the audience a better appreciation for the wild life around them, is back again on Saturday nights.  This program presents an informative presentation that features a close encounter with some of Ontario’s magnificent wild creatures.
